Recognizing growing concerns for the protection of natural resources, the City is embarking on a process to engage the public on topics relating to water quality, tree preservation, wetlands, protection of the Indian River Lagoon, and land conservation. Information obtained through this process will provide recommendations to the City on how to update the comprehensive plan to achieve the community’s vision for natural resources. We want to hear from you during the course of this project! There are multiple ways to be involved and it starts with this project website, which includes public input tools such as a community idea wall and a survey. We will also have in-person community engagement opportunities that are tentatively scheduled for the summer.
