The City of Jellico is formulating an economic development plan designed to define the community’s economic development goals and objectives into the future. This economic development plan will prioritize those actions that can be pursued by the City to be ready to capture economic opportunities as they arise and to address those challenges as they currently exist. It will provide a vision and a focus for the community regarding economic development efforts and inform the market on community desired outcomes. Finally, it will be prepared in alignment with the region’s economic development planning efforts and therefore provide opportunities for attracting available public investment. This project website is designed to provide the community with the plan’s progress/timeline as well as to provide a platform and forum for citizen input regarding various economic development issues via a community survey and a forum engagement tool.
