The St. Augustine CRA is working to develop a new vision for Cordova Street and its public spaces. Once part of the Rosario Line that enclosed the historic city, Cordova Street remains a vital connection in St. Augustine’s historic center. Rich in history and serving a variety of purposes, it is a place where the old and new intersect. However, to better serve the community, Cordova Street must evolve to meet the diverse needs of residents, visitors, pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles. Additionally, it must be designed to withstand the growing environmental challenges posed by climate change and storm events.
